I fell into community radio by accident 15 years ago at KDHX in St. Louis. A friend of mine who hosted a weekly radio show asked me one evening to select about 25 cds and meet her at the station. I met her and quickly found myself in the "air-room" being asked to select a cd and song for her to play…I did, and the rest was history! I returned the next week as the host to an audience that grew to know and cherish the blend of music that I played. Introducing music over the air was an amazing experience. The feedback and impact that I have had on people's lives "at a moment in time" by the music I have shared has been an incredibly rewarding endeavor.
