The Series was created to allow me to share my insatiable passion for outstanding music with others. This most likely began forming in my mind many years ago, when as an adolescent I spent many hours in record stores searching for artists unknown to me…Why? I have never been able to verbalize the feeling I am filled with when I discover a new singer-songwriter or instrumentalist. I seek to find music that "stills me", "awes me", and "injects me" with a desire to hear more…The Firefly Concert Series has become my vehicle in which to share the best new and up and coming independent artists with an intimate audience.

I have had the unique opportunity to host my own radio show for 15 years at several different public radio stations. My experience in radio has allowed me to listen and explore music in numerous genres globally. The Firefly Concert Series is an experience unlike any others in that I only select exceptional artists to perform in a personal acoustic venue "created for those who want to listen to something special".

If you have ever witnessed a firefly on a dark summer's night…it is a bit magical to see a flash of light in the vast darkness… My goal is to create an intimate acoustic experience for the audience leaving them with a flash of brilliance in the musical abyss…much like the firefly.
